How to create a wallet for Hora Token

To withdraw the Hora Token, you can use any EVM wallet. The ones we recommend using are Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Rainbow. To keep this article shorter, we will only show you how to create a MetaMask wallet on both PC and mobile.

Wallet creation - PC process

[1] Begin by downloading the MetaMask extension for your browser here.

[2] After adding the extension to your browser, you'll be taken to the 'Let’s get started' page. Here, you can create a new wallet or import an existing one. Click on 'Create a new wallet'.

[3] Now, it's time to create a secure password. This password is essential for unlocking your MetaMask wallet. It's crucial to note that this password is not the same as your Secret Recovery Phrase, which is used for wallet recovery.

Once you've completed this step, check the box below and proceed by clicking 'Create a new wallet’.

[4] You should now find yourself on the 'Secure wallet' step. Here, you have the choice to set up a Secret Recovery Phrase. We highly recommend doing so for added security. To set up a Secret Recovery Phrase, tap 'Secure my wallet'.

This is a critical step: grab a pen and a piece of paper. Carefully write down your Secret Recovery Phrase in the correct order. This phrase is extremely important for wallet recovery and must be kept private. Do not share it with anyone.

[5] Once you’ve securely written down your Secret Recovery Phrase, click 'Next'. You will then be prompted to fill in your Secret Recovery Phrase again to ensure you wrote it down correctly. After verification, press 'Confirm'.

[6] That's it! Congratulations, you've successfully created your MetaMask wallet on your PC. Your wallet is now ready to use securely.

[1] Begin by downloading the MetaMask application from either the Google Play Store or the App Store, depending on your mobile device.

[2] After downloading the app, open it. You'll be greeted with a welcome screen. Tap 'Get started', followed by 'Create a new wallet'. You'll then be asked to review and agree to the terms of use and privacy policy.

[3] Now, it's time to create a secure password. This password is essential for unlocking your MetaMask wallet on your mobile device. It's crucial to note that this password is not the same as your Secret Recovery Phrase, which is used for wallet recovery.
You'll also have the option to enable or disable 'Unlock with Fingerprint' depending on your preference. Once you've completed these steps, check the box below and proceed by tapping 'Create password'.

[4] You should now find yourself on the 'Secure wallet' step. Here, you have the choice to set up a Secret Recovery Phrase. We highly recommend doing so for added security. To set up a Secret Recovery Phrase, tap on 'Start'.

[5] A new screen will appear, providing information about how to store your Secret Recovery Phrase securely. It's crucial to read this information carefully. Afterward, press 'Start' again. You'll need to unlock your wallet either with your password or through a fingerprint scan, depending on your earlier choice.

[6] This is a critical step: grab a pen and a piece of paper. Carefully write down your Secret Recovery Phrase in the correct order. This phrase is extremely important for wallet recovery and must be kept private. Do not share it with anyone.

Once you've securely written down your Secret Recovery Phrase, tap 'Continue'. You will then be prompted to input your Secret Recovery Phrase again to ensure you wrote it down correctly. After verification, press 'Complete Backup'.

[7] That's it! Congratulations, you've successfully created your MetaMask wallet on your mobile device. Your wallet is now ready to use securely.
